After Escaping EFCC Drama, Singer Zlatan Caught In Another Scandal Involving Big Boy Hushpuppi (Photos)
Social media is a place where people often try to impress their followers and be on their best at all times, particularly celebrities. Sometimes, their expensive displays leaves many people motivated to do more for themselves. However, this show of wealth on social media is not always what it seems seeing as some of these people only flaunt for the gram. They undoubtedly live fake lives to impress their fans and a few weeks after singer, Zlatan escaped the hands of the law (EFCC), he has found himself in another controversy and Nigerians can’t keep still.

Nigerian big boy Hushpuppi, and fast-rising singer, Zlatan Ibile, have both had internet users asking questions after it was noticed that they posed with the same car. Some days back, Hushpuppi had posted a photo of himself posing beside a neon-coloured Brabus jeep. The big boy also matched the colour of the car with his neon sweatshirt. Also, just recently, Zlatan Ibile was also seen posing beside the same Brabus jeep.
This was apparent because the car had the same plate number with the one in Hushpuppi’s photo. Just like the Dubai-based rich guy, Zlatan also matched the colour of the car with his outfit. After Nigerians on social media noticed the similarity in the photos, they took to asking who the real owner of the vehicle is. However, some people noted that neither Zlatan nor Hushpuppi claimed to own the vehicle.

Well, it seems that just like regular people, celebrities also love to be identified with good things, even if it means posing with it on the gram. A perfect example is the recent disgrace and public humiliation popular blogger, Blessing Okoro, got after it was discovered that she claimed another man’s house as her own.

Living a fake life is a common phenomenon perpetrated around the world, but it is usually frowned at when committed by a prominent personality. Pretending to be who you’re not, just to impress your fans, or for whatever reason, is something celebrities shouldn’t do. The rate at which some entertainers pretend to be who or what they are not just to keep up appearances and measure up to their status as celebrities is worrying. Fans and critics are the reason behind celebrities living fake lives; social media can also be blamed for some of the problems they experience as entertainers.

Social media has caused trouble for many; a lot of people are wrongly influenced and many talked down on which sometimes lead to depression or inferiority complex.  This sometimes makes people live a false life on social media; some even have to live above their means just to meet up expectations of their fans and critics. Entertainers need to quit splashing their personal life on social media to avoid ill advice or tongue lashing from fans and critics. Some problems escalate also due to social media advice and tongue lashing, so it’s best to keep it private if it’s your personal life.
